The 2025 Greyhound of Richmond is the seventh release in The Royal Mint's esteemed Royal Tudor Beasts series, celebrating the heraldic creatures associated with the Tudor dynasty. This collection continues the legacy of the acclaimed Queen's Beasts series, offering a fresh perspective on British royal history.
Obverse: Features the effigy of King Charles III, designed by British sculptor Martin Jennings, marking a significant transition in British coinage.
Reverse: Depicts the Greyhound of Richmond, a heraldic symbol representing loyalty and courage, seated and supporting a shield bearing the three lions of England. This intricate design was crafted by artist David Lawrence.
