The Royal Mint proudly honours one of the United Kingdom’s most iconic and powerful symbols, the Royal Arms. For centuries, this distinguished emblem has represented the authority, heritage and strength of the British monarchy. First reinterpreted in 2019 by renowned heraldic artist Timothy Noad for a new bullion range, the design now returns for the third year in succession.
The Royal Arms is the official Coat of Arms of the reigning monarch, whose portrait appears on the obverse of this one ounce fine gold bullion coin. Historically displayed on shields and banners in medieval battle, the Royal Arms is presented here in a contemporary form, set against a field of finely detailed radial lines. This striking background enhances the overall aesthetic while also serving as a sophisticated security feature.
This coin is graded and certified by the NGC, slabbed in a protective case to authenticate and preserve the coin's condition.
